(In my humble opinion).
If the companies were stopped from selling their merchandise to stop the bloodshed, it will be a temporary solution. Alternatively govt. can buy the production from companies to divert the supplies to their storage facility instead of to the war zone. War is a business. On the hand, it is like a match between two teams and each team tries to score a match point. Countries and people living in those countries should be responsible enough not to start a dispute/war, once a dispute/war was started, no one knows how or when to stop it. Businesses have a right to sell their products when there was a demand and need for it. No one cares about ethics, and it is legal to sell factory's production. It will be unethical to tell factories to stop their production. Manufacturing is a business.

TO THE ATTENTION OF ALL THOSE WHO SEE MY NAME ON THEIR COMPUTER SCREEN AS  [MAHMOOD KHALID] like home insurance etc., and can not relate the name to a human being behind it,  please take a picture of your computer screen, use office or home printer to print the picture on a paper and insert a comma in between to make it look like .......... [MAHMOOD, KHALID] and say it loudly twice, you will know exactly the person in the name, crystal clear, without any ambiguity and no guess work. ............. Recently in 2024 I visited Saudi Arabia for few months and when used taxis, I noticed that it was very rare to find a local Saudi taxi driver, most of them were from Asian countries, I assume that same applies to other countries in the area that their taxi drivers were expats from other countries.  In Canada I noticed that there were large number of taxi drivers from Arabic speaking countries, not sure which countries. Perhaps they were not acceptable to drive taxis in their previous countries so they came to Canada to drive taxis but without proper professional training or Canadian experience.  Countries in that part of the world import large number of highly qualified professionals from other countries because of the local shortage in that part of the world.  I was thinking that would it not be better for them to keep their taxi drivers instead of sending their taxi drivers to Canada.  Why only taxi drivers need immigration to Canada, why not qualified professional...
