259 days on March 04 of 2023 since the incident of June 19 of 2022 in Hamilton, when my residence of over five years was illegally occupied by a hostile intruder, who entered in my space without my permission with running power tools in hands and started drilling the door. After that I was forced to go through public shelters in Hamilton and Brampton. I became tenant again as of December 01 of 2022 but same behaviour was repeated just after 2 months renting by the people who rented me in Brampton, as of Family Day 2023 week (February 17 of 2023) I was stopped from entering by a hand written note placed on my door on 02/17/2023 and later on on 02/20/2023 the streetvkevel entrance door lock was changed. After that I did not go there , a community legal clinic lawyer who knows me calls me from time to time to tell me what to do in certain situations such as put a stop on rent pay direct etc. More details on my website www.m0168.org
I wonder why Canadian Govt. Can not provide housing stability and protection from such evictions and lockouts to it's Citizen and residents. Once the damage is done it become difficult to get it reversed.

Almost monthly fire alarm practice in this building since I live here (August 01 of 2023, lease was signed on July 28 of 2023 in the presence of two witnesses). This is very unusual. OCH Ottawa community housing should look into the root cause of it. It is inconvenient for seniors to go out of the building in cold weather. This is a seniors building. Unimaginable to have this event on monthly basis where seniors live. Perhaps even student housings do not get so frequent for alarms. When I lived in USA before 2005, it was only once that I heard such fire alarm in the housing and only once at place of work. Never again .  But in Ottawa, in this Building this a monthly activity, perhaps due to the Fire departments training centre in the neighbourhood at 900 Industrial. Is fire department using this building for training their new hires. When I came back to the building by 17h45, fire trucks were not around the building and there was no sign of fire. ALERT !! ALERT - via rail mispelled my name on my ticket, I showed my driver's licence which staff at the counter did not see. Posted September 20 of 2023. via rail staff should be careful and avoid such errors which may result in legal complications.

For several months in 1994 and perhaps 1995 as well, I used to travel weekly with JohnLyng to London Ontario for a software development project for London Life. (Some one might interpreter this error as change of name, no it was not a change of name, because I (the passenger {Khalid Mahmood}) offered my ID to show, secondly, name was entered in the system and printed on the boarding pass by the via rail staff not by the passenger.).
