A Survey - How many people think this card is credit card and how many people think this is a pre paid debit card. It is surprising to know that everybody has own interpretation about this card and wrong, PC Financials is not doing enough to educate people about it. This card is just a debit card linked to a chequing account like any chequing account has a debit card linked.
But merchants and card holders are not educated enough about it.
Grocery stores and some merchants think that this is a credit card. Wrong assumption, wrong answer.
President's choice / Loblaws grocery store (the parent or partner company) thinks that this is a pre paid card. Again wrong answer. I was told so by a person at the customer service desk of a grocery store.

So, why so much roumers and wrong information around these things. I wonder.
Perhaps illiterate people have taken over and creating a chaos in the modern society or trying to sabotage the use of technology, and it's use in every day life. Such lies and efforts to misguide by some influential people can result in legal complications for some other people for, no reason, just to impede their lives and to make it difficult (an already rejected method of governance). This is a dangerous trend on the rise if not checked.

(PC Financials has a different line of products used as credit cards. But this card is definitely not one of them, and is not a credit card, (may be a look alike) it is just a debit card linked to a chequing account. If retailers are not aware of these cards than this is really a serious matter, they are just making assumptions or using gossipy sessions of conversation as source of information, which is useless).

Something to think about.

Almost monthly fire alarm practice in this building since I live here (August 01 of 2023, lease was signed on July 28 of 2023 in the presence of two witnesses). This is very unusual. OCH Ottawa community housing should look into the root cause of it. It is inconvenient for seniors to go out of the building in cold weather. This is a seniors building. Unimaginable to have this event on monthly basis where seniors live. Perhaps even student housings do not get so frequent for alarms. When I lived in USA before 2005, it was only once that I heard such fire alarm in the housing and only once at place of work. Never again .  But in Ottawa, in this Building this a monthly activity, perhaps due to the Fire departments training centre in the neighbourhood at 900 Industrial. Is fire department using this building for training their new hires. When I came back to the building by 17h45, fire trucks were not around the building and there was no sign of fire. I called the OCH to find out about this

ALERT !! ALERT - via rail mispelled my name on my ticket, I showed my driver's licence which staff at the counter did not see. Posted September 20 of 2023. via rail staff should be careful and avoid such errors which may result in legal complications.

Car #5 as was labelled on the outside of the train and inside #:3330 First time I travelled by via rail was in 1994 Toronto Union to London Ontario with John Lyng. via rail work used to be error free during those days. For several months in 1994 and perhaps 1995 as well, I used to travel weekly with JohnLyng to London Ontario for a software development project for London Life. (Some one might interpreter this error as change of name, no it was not a change of name, because I (the passenger {Khalid Mahmood}) offered my ID to show, secondly, name was entered in the system and printed on the boarding pass by the via rail staff not by the passenger.).
