In 1995 when I was a project hire for Bechtel corporation in San Francusco, a credit card company issued a credit card with a visa logo and spending limit of $500.00 and a picture on it which was taken on the spot during application process. After nearly 30 years PC financials in Canada is still keeping my card at $500.00 limit, perhaps something to show similarity with past (perhaps) but without a picture on the card.
I wonder if some people want every one to live a life like they were in childhood or as a student, than they will all be below certain people.
When I moved to unit #2 of 671 Fennell Ave., East in Hamilton Ontario Canada in May 2017, a nearly door height and rectangle/square heavy package was delivered by few men to unit 3 (while I was in my unit) unit 3 was occupied by a unusually big belly man. I heard or perhaps unintentionally saw that the package was of a ATM/ABM machine. The package remained there for few days before it was removed.
A vlogger on youtube was praising the city she was visiting for its natural beauty and the other objects around. That reminded me of 1981 when I went to Eindhoven Netherlands from Karachi Pakistan as Philips Scholarship student. Everything looked different as compared to Karachi, pretty and perhaps I had the simiar feelings as the vlogger. Youtube and vlogging did not exist at that time, so I used photography to document memories. During my student life in Karachi I used public transport buses (in 60s, 70s public transportation vehicles) which were very ancient. In Eindhoven I got the opportunity to travel by luxury coaches with PII students, teachers and Staff group, coaches were like air plane interior, city buses in Eindhoven were different. After completion of my study period in Eindhoven I went back to Karachi via Jeddah and when I was taking to someone about mode of transportation in Netherlands I mentioned that I liked the buses they were not able to understand why I would like buses (I used to drive a car as well), because word buses has different image in people's mind in different parts of the world. I was talking about luxury coaches of Netherlands and the other person was comparing it the with the ancient buses of Karachi without ever using the luxury coaches. Lack of life experiences.
