Scotiabank entered an unauthorized unknown transasction in my account six months ago. They are not able to provide the transaction details and have not removed it from my account despite my written request and complaint to the bank.
Credit memo and ABM/ATM deposit are different kind of deposits. A customer can deposit money in account at an ABM machine using the interac card issued by the bank. But credit memo method is banks internal matter, not accessible to account owner/ customers.
I am not sure why the bank was asking for my consent.
