One of the words used to oppose or retaliate is "to counter". This terminology is used in specific circles among people of certain level and ideology who try to counter arguments with retaliatory steps, who try to counter facts/truth with an opposing opinion or action to the common people. If the techniques of countering were used against or in matters with position of power, or among politicians, or against policies matters, than it will make sense, but when such techniques were used against ordinary and powerless people than it becomes questionable and human rights matter due to malicious intents behind such techniques. They just try to counter every thing instead of resolving the issues, believing that problem will disappear by itself if you sit on (deferred) the problem for a long time. After I rented the building at 671 Fennell Ave East (beacon signboutside on the board in parking lot showed a number 667) starting from May of 2017 (last weekend of April 2017), many people used to come there to see the place. it was usually dark in the hallway and not all the apartments were rented. Some of those visitors (including some of desi origin women) were young families young women with little kids. Motion detection system used to turn on the lights after people walked through specific spots on the floor otherwise not. A tall boy used to come following them and used to touch down on women's private body parts in a creepy way around the meeting corner which was right outside my apartment door,  and used to speak in low voice "this is a problem" when I used to come out of my apartment #2 to the hallway to see what was happening. I was born in 1956 which was just 9 years after the country Pakistan was established as a independent nation in 1947. History followers would know that time period right after this event (i.e. establishment of Pakistan in 1947) was very difficult for people, there was no well esatblished infra structure, no established facilities, not enough schools, no established supply chain, not enough housing etc. and it was not just about having or not having money, rather there was a scarcity of necessities due to many other issues, it takes time to establish/build a country. So I grew up in those tough environments, my parents made every possible effort to provide me a better life and prepared me for better life as a grown-up by not allowing me to waste my time in worth less activities and did not allow me to play with street kids.
